What Makes MicroLiter Unique?
Not All Autosampler Vial Companies Are Created Equal
MicroLiter was founded in 1996 to supply autosampler vials and
consumables for the industry’s leading autosamplers. When deciding how
to position our company within the multitude of other companies offering
vials, we made a fundamental decision to only offer products that offered
proven stable performance and avoid those products that had a wide
range of tolerances that could impede performance of the autosampler.
We chose to develop products that met the requirements of the customers’
demands but also format them in ways that allowed for more efficient
transfer of samples from the prep lab to the autosampler. At the same
time we also realized that the autosampler vials we offered hold the most
expensive solutions produced by the lab. No matter how the sample was
prepped, our autosampler vial was the last sample container your sample
touched before it became a hazardous waste in the lab. We take this very
seriously.
Class 10,000 Clean Room Packed Vials
MicroLiter’s stringent cleaning of every autosampler vial that enters
our facility makes certain that we provide you with a clean vial for your
prepared sample.
Some of our competitors offer “Certified Vials.” Could we offer them?
Sure, but why? We believe that our competition introduced these vials to
compete against our Class 10,000 Clean Room product line when they
simply use the lot numbers provided by their vendor. To compete they
randomly test a lot by LC / MS and charge you for doing so. That’s not the
case at MicroLiter. We clean every vial.
We understand the specifications of the autosamplers we support.
Consequently, the drawings we’ve developed to produce the vials we
sell are more detailed than the base drawings of other companies. Upon
delivery to our facility we receive the vials, check them against our
drawings then clean them using our unique process and repackage them
in a certified Class 10,000 Clean Room.
The Correct Closures & The Correct Packaging
Closures by their very nature can never be offered as a Class 10,000 Clean
Room product unless we individually wrapped each cap with and without
septum that we provide. What we offer is a means of delivery that has a
user-friendly package that keeps the products clean during transportation
to your lab. Once on site we then offer you a dispenser that our packaging
integrates with that assists our customers in keeping the closures clean.
We work to continually improve the packaging and offer our three inch
tubes presealed on one end to reduce our handling of these items to a
minimum. Each improvement reduces waste and contamination of the
closures.
User-Beneficial Improvements Cost You No More
Unlike our competition, we do not charge you for the extra attention to
cleanliness. In fact we take it one step forward by packaging closures in
packs of 50 that can be stored in the supplies storeroom in your facility to
keep them organized until you are ready to use them.
Our product numbers are frequently cross-referenced to other brands
as equivalent. We believe this is unfortunate because there is a clear
difference in packaging and manufacturing specifications.
