Azlon Plastics for Food
Contact Applications
Many Azlon reusable plastic products are approved for food contact
applications in accordance with one, or both of the following:
European Regulations (EU):
European regulations (EU) No. 10/2011
up to EU No. 2015/174 relating to plastic materials and articles
intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
United States (FDA) Regulations (USA):
Code of Federal Regulation
(CFR), Title 21, Food and Drug Administration (FDA, Part 177.1520
“Olefin Polymers”, ((a) 2)(i) and (C)2.1 and 2.2.
In addition to being suitable for food contact, our ranges provide users
with the benefit of ergonomic design, durability and ease of use. This
makes them ideal for a wide range of food sampling and handling
applications. For example, our leakproof, wide-neck bottles are
suitable for use with liquids, granules and powders and are designed
for ease of filling and emptying, as well as cleaning. They are available
in polypropylene and HDPE which is suited to cold temperature use.
Batch certificates are available online.
All of our food contact products are available in convenient lab-packs
and many are available in bulk quantities to suit your needs.
