Important Changes in Our Syringe Product Lines
In cooperation with CTC Analytics, X-Type Syringes and C-Line
series of syringes for PAL
®
all LC, GC and Headspace instruments
manufactured by the Hamilton Company have become the
principle product line of Syringes supported by MicroLiter. This
change insures that the products we offer are tested and fully
approved by CTC for use on the PAL.
Because of this you will see changes in some product numbers
that reflect the CTC Analytics theories in assigning product
numbers. While not always exact, it should assist all PAL users
in identifying products we offer with CTC literature supplied with
the instrument.
The new DLW platform introduced by CTC has added a new
product line of consumables for this highly versatile sample
handler.
The design of the C-line is based on the improvements
employed
in
CTC’s
X-Type
syringe.
Excluded
are the inert needle material and the specially
treated inside of the glass barrel. As with the X-Type syringe
the construction is characterized by a direct glass/needle
connection that completely avoids sample contact with glue or
cement. A long-life polymer compound of the latest generation
is used as plunger tip material. Additionally, a new flange design
with adjustable plunger protects the tip from squeezing.
C-Line will replace all current LC and GC syringes for Liquid
and Headspace applications. C-Line syringes are direct
replacements for the same product numbers and prices as the
previous models.
You will also see that we have reduced the number of syringe
product lines we will support. If you are currently purchasing
another brand of syringes we will continue to service your
needs so that you do not have to validate another syringe for
your instrument.
